Mission Statement
“He who is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and HE will repay his deeds.”
Proverbs 19:17
“Those who spend in charity will be richly rewarded.”
Quran 75:10
Within the beliefs of our common Abrahamic faiths we’ve decided to name our charitable foundation
“Al Barro” which comes from the Arabic word الْبَرُّ , when translated to English literally means:
“The Source of All Goodness, The Righteous, The One who is Kind”
…And so, you will see the main part of our mission statement is in the name of our foundation. Therefore, Al Barro Foundation and through the generous support it harnesses from its many volunteers, patrons, partners and donors is to;
Be kind, gracious, righteous and a source for goodness to all those
in need, that we are able to help by providing very much needed services that
would otherwise not be available to underprivileged families, children, the
elderly and sick. As well as immediate-action initiatives for disaster relief.

In November of 2020 Hurricane Iota devastated Nicaragua and the region with massive floods, landslides and storm surges whipping out whole towns. With many casualties and thousands of traumatized and newly displaced peoples, Al Barro Foundation with its team of volunteers and donors sprung into action by responding to this natural disaster with a shipping container full of emergency relief such as non-perishable food items, clothing, hygiene and medical supplies. Care packages of these items were handed out to individuals and families in the devastated parts of the country to help ease their suffering and aid in their wellbeing.
